I have several categories of announcement lists. When I pull a list on a page using the Announcement list external call, it will pull all of the proper announcements, however when the 'read full story' link is clicked, it takes the user to the home page.
Thanks

This is just one example of where a list pulled by the external app "Announcement List" is not displaying the full article when the "read more" link is clicked - instead it directs to the home page.

Hello Jennifer,
I looked int your issue and found that you did not have an Announcement Content page defined.
I have created one for you called Announcement - Full Story, and assigned the Announcement Content app to it.

I was referring to the announcement content for the various categories that I have defined. The announcement list is pulling the correct content on the page, however when the "read more" link is clicked it goes to the home page. Link as example is still valid. Here is another example. I have created a category called "2010-2011 Season Archives"
The page pulls all of the correct content for that category, however the link for the read more does not work. I have created many categories. Sorry for the confusion in my earlier question. When I listed announcement list - I was referring to the external name for the function I was using, not the category of the announcements.

The only thing I can think of is that I had a few items in the archive category that were expired. When I updated those to 'never expire' it seems to have allowed the 'read more' link to work.

It turns out that it was related to expired content in the specific category. Once the expired items were unexpired, the read more links started working.
