Is there anything I need to know to attach a PDF file into a page or cart item description?

One gotcha here: If you rename an existing file that has links and don't replace the file with a like name, all the existing links will no longer download the file.
Best practice: If you are going to upload a file with the same name, rename the old file first and then upload. This way you have the older version online should need it for anything.
For the Item in your cart, there are two ways to make documents downloadable.
The first is described above using the editor, the second is to use the link from the File Manager and use the Supporting Links feature in the Edit Item page.
From your Cart Administration, open the item you want to edit.
Go down the page to the Advanced Features Section
Under Supporting Links, enter a Title and past the URL
I have updated the Garmin 200 Test Item in your cart with both these methods for you to see how they look.
I dropped the content link under the Specifications in the description with the Editor; I added a Supporting Link that shows up in the Item Details section right next to Enter Quantity using the Advanced Feature.
Note: If your selling the document, like an eBook, Music File, PDF or KMZ Maps, etc. this is not the proper way for that; that is a different secured process.
